People are not happy after finding out how Donald Trump has been spending his time after his controversial ‘Liberation Day’ speech and stock market crash.
OK, so presidents have the right to engage in a little down time, just like the rest of us do.
But people are not happy that after seeing the stock market to lose $2 trillion in seconds during just one speech, the president was away from the White House.
It all began when Trump stated that he wanted to boost his country’s economy through implementing trade rates with international partners.
With many countries around the world facing 10 percent, 25 percent and more import rates, things have been getting heated in the aftermath.

China hit back at the US with additional tariffs, as it was one many countries to be hit with the major new rates when Trump shared his plans to immediately implement tariffs on April 2.
Sharing his thoughts from the White House’s Rose Garden, the POTUS said: “This is Liberation Day. We’ve been waiting for a long time, April 2, 2025, will forever be remembered as the day American industry was reborn, the day America’s destiny was reclaimed, and the day that we began to ‘Make America Wealthy Again’.
Seconds into his speech, the stock market fell with many global businesses losing stocks and shares.
His plan is predicted to cause not just a US recession, but a global recession, which led citizens to become upset online.
However, they are more angry after finding out that he’s been golfing.
The Washington Post reported: “A day after seeking to remake the global economic order, President Donald Trump on Thursday is returning to another priority: remaking professional golf.”
Trump is also said to have planned to dine with leaders of the LIV Golf tour just outside of Miami.
A redditor was furious, and accused Trump of using his own hotel to bring in profits.

A person wrote: “You mean trump earned 700k everytime for fully booking his hotel with secret service personnel.”
Another wrote: “Of course he did, he doesn’t respect anyone. Not even himself since people will film him golfing and he can’t even do that.”
Someone else commented: “He is who you thought he was. Selfish brat, s****** his pants.”
While people sit on the aftermath of the stock market dive, an old video of Kalama Harris showed how she predicted the whole thing during her run against Trump.
Harris stated in the CNN clip: “What Goldman Sachs has said is that Donald Trump’s plan would make the economy worse, mine would strengthen the economy. What the Wharton School has said is Donald Trump’s plan would actually explode the deficit.”
She added: “16 Nobel laureates have described his economic plan as something that would increase inflation, and by the middle of next year, would invite a recession. You just have to look at where we are and where we stand on the issues, and I’d invite you to know that Donald Trump actually has no plan for you, because he is more interested in defending himself than he is in looking out for you.”
